"determinate tomatoes"

Hi Diane, I found the Siletz tomato that I talked about in the On-Line catalog you sugested. Under Large Tomatoes, Beefsteak Tomato, Siletz. Code 34Z01, Price $1.95, it says 48 days but other catalogs say 52 days. It doesn't say that the fruits are 10to12 oz. and that it's a determinate. I haven't tryed it yet but it has everything I want in a tomato Big, Early, Blemish-Free, Crack-Free The only thing it needs is to have is good flavor and I'll be planting them every year for as long as I can. The catalog you sugested is www.seedsave.org just in case. I thought you might be intrested. You'll be hearing from me again, Ken Cameron

   Hi Ken,
If you order anything from Parks Seeds please try their Parks Whopper tomatoes. They are our main crop tomatoes with the best flavor of all we have grown. Also crack resistant. They are a hybrid so you can't save their seeds but well worth buying the seeds for. We like to grow several kinds of toms because there are always certain ones that do better than others and it is a like an insurance. That is also why we grow Juliets. Nothing bothers them and if others fail there are always Juliets.
Diane
