   Hi Judy,
Pumpkin vines will have male and female blossoms and some growers this year (us included) are finding few female blossoms. If you don't have female blossoms you don't have any pumpkins. The female's will have a swollen area between the vine and the flower. The male blossoms are on a long stem without the swollen area.

We only started getting some fruit two weeks ago, we have had a drought and hot weather and word is the vines refused to set female blossoms because of it.

Only time will tell if you will get fruit and if there will be time for them to turn orange. A frost will kill the vine.

Sorry for the not so great news, Diane
