"Cleome"

Should the whiskery seed pods below the flowerhead of cleome be removed or left to mature on the plant? These plants seem to produce 4 or 5 nice flowerheads. If these are cut, will more flowers appear or is what you see, what you get?

   Hi Barbara,
If you want them to reseed themselves then they need to be left to mature. But if that doens't matter then cut them so you will get further flowering.
Happy Gardening,
Diane
