I have planted morning glories for the first time in years and they are growing "out of sight" with no flowers as yet. Should I have nipped them at about 6' so they would have branched out near the bottom of the vines?

Hi Barbara, It might be the cultivar you are growing or the soil has too much nitrogen. Too much nitrogen will cause plenty of lush foliage at the expense of flowers. Read this week's Tip of the Week, found on our Home page, for further information about soil nutrients and what they do. Diane
