Hi Carmen, I have seen Palace Purple Heuchera growing in full sun and full shade; they are related to coral bells. Actually it likes the sun more than full shade but must be a pretty easy going plant; unless it is in a hot climate then it needs some shade. It wants fertile well drained soil. It is grown mostly for its foliage, the flowers aren't very pretty. The Pulmonaria (also called Lungwort) likes moist ordinary soil in full to partial shade. The leaves do tend to get eaten by slugs, like hostas. Go to 'Combating Pests' if you need ideas for slugs. Oh yea, you helped to answer a question before about slugs, so you probably know how to get rid of them.
Let both of these go to seed if you want babies, they are wonderful to plants to share because they aren't too unruly. I just let them reseed themselves instead of collecting seed because it is just easier.
They aren't like Lady's Mantel, with that I actually cut the blossoms off before they reseed or I have babies everywhere! For the first year or so that is O.K. but you only need so many LMs.
Bye, Diane
