Question why do you plant onion sets upside down?
Answer Hi Angel, Onion sets should NOT be planted upsidedown. Perhaps there has been a mistake passed down the generations and that is how you have been taught. The root end should be put down into the ground with the top (where the green leaves will grow) pointing up. This is not a mistake on my part, it is the truth! Happy Gardening, Hoot
