Q.-Which vegetables can grow in a big pot or a flower box?

A.-Hi Gracie, There are so many things you can grow in a big pot but you need really good soil (drains well and high in nutrient content) and things that don't grow too big. You need to find varieties that remain small. If you were growing a tomato plant look for a "determinate" or "patio" type or for cucumber look for "bush" or "patio" type. Don't grow "trailing" types of squash. Lettuce is a good choice for pots. You might not get enough beans to make it worth the room but they would grow OK. Happy Gardening, Hoot
